Even-aged forest

A forest structured according to age classes, in which management is carried out on the basis of homogeneous area units of even-aged trees. Silvicultural measures such as tending of young growth, cleaning, thinning, and final harvest are performed stand- or area-wise after the rotation period has been reached.
